What is Amazon Prime Day?
In an effort to help encourage more sales on the site, Amazon held a day-long “Prime Day” sale last summer. In the United States, the sale occurred on the July 10 and ran for 36 hours.
In this day-long sale, Amazon offers up to 40 percent off a wide selection of items, including some that are usually priced up to $19.99 or $100 or more. These items are now available for $10 or less.
